Katie LeCluyse , Ph.D.
  Katie LeCluyse, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who received her doctorate from the University of New Orleans. She spent two years in postdoctoral training in the Behavioral Pediatric Department at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. She specializes in assessment and intervention with children and adolescents. Her areas of interest include anxiety, OCD, behavior management, adjustment issues, ADHD, social skills intervention and parent training.
   
Allan Schmidt , Ph.D.
  Allan Schmidt, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in Kansas and Missouri. Since receiving his Ph.D. in 1982, he has worked in a variety of settings with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. In his clinical practice he specializes in the assessment of those with suspected ADHD. He also conducts evaluations for employment issues, fitness for duty, and workers compensation. Michelle Coker , Ph.D.
  Michelle Coker, Ph.D. is a licensed Psychologist (KS & MO). She received her doctorate from University of Arkansas in 1999. She is a former president of the Kansas Psychological Association and has served on the Governor’s Mental Health Task Force. Dr. Coker’s specialty areas include assessment and intervention with children of all ages, from age 3 to adolescents. She also works with adults, families, and schools to resolve a multitude of issues that impact daily living, such as anxiety, anger, fears, depression, attention, behavior, and problems that affect learning.
   
Ron Lybarger , Ph.D.
  Ron Lybarger, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist, has been providing a wide range of mental health and psychoeducational services to deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing individuals for over 25 years. Dr. Lybarger holds degrees in Sign Language Interpreting, Addiction Studies, and Counseling Psychology. He has extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance abuse related issues. He has been involved in the development of many educational, prevention, and treatment resources for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals.

Anne Schmidt , LSCSW
  Anne Schmidt, MSW. is a licensed specialist clinical social worker. She received her Masters in social work from the University of Windsor in 1980. She has extensive experience in the area of addictions, having worked in inpatient and outpatient settings at Henry Ford Hospital and Yale University. She has been in Private practice in the Kansas City area since 1993. She works with adolescents, their families as well as adults.She is experienced in helping patients resolve depression and anxiety including OCD, social anxiety, phobias and panic attacks. She also treats eating disorders and other compulsive disorders. She provides marital and family therapy and continues to expand her knowledge and training in each of the above areas.
   
Kyle Roste , LSCSW, LCSW
  Kyle Roste, LSCSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and is licensed in Kansas and Missouri. He received his Masters in Social Work from the University of Kansas in 1998. Kyle has extensive experience in Family Therapy, Marriage Counseling, Addictions, and various mental health problems.

Kyle draws from his past experience in working as a Team Leader in the inpatient substance dependence setting at North Star Recovery Services, and numerous out patient settings including Community Mental Health Centers and developing programs within the Managed Care setting. Kyle trains Masters level therapists throughout the country in the Functional Family Therapy Model, through his position as a National FFT Consultant (Functional Family Therapy).

He also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Kansas Masters of Social Work Program. These past and current experiences are integral to Kyle’s growth as a professional in his areas of expertise…Family Therapy, Marriage Counseling, Addictions, Couples Therapy and Chronic Mental Health Issues.

   
Valerie Rodriguez , LSCSW, RPT
  Valerie Rodriguez, LSCSW,RPT is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist in Kansas. She received her Master's Degree in Social Work in 2002 from the University of Kansas. Valerie has over 12 years' experience as a therapist with children, adults and families in a variety of clinical settings with diverse populations.

Valerie specializes in providing therapy for children age 3 to adolescent that are struggling with emotional and behavioral concerns, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety and depressive symptoms as well as parenting support and training. In addition Valerie treats adults dealing with adjustment and life stressor concerns, trauma, anxiety, depressive symptoms, mood disorders and family and marital relationship issues. Valerie has extensive training in parenting instruction, training in play therapy, and a treatment modality called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) that is specifically designed to help individuals overcome trauma and has proven to be helpful with individuals dealing with anxiety and depression as well.

   
Tamara Finlen , LSCSW, LCSW
  Tamara Finlen, LSCSW, LCSW is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker in Kansas and Missouri. She received her Master in Social Work from University of Kansas in 2009.

Tamara has a wide range of expertise in the areas of substance use disorders, family relationships, legal/court issues, and gay/lesbian youth. She is skilled in divorced parent counseling, in-home family therapy, chronic mental health management, domestic violence, anger management, and childhood trauma counseling. She also provides assessment and treatment of animal cruelty and its related violence against persons.

Tamara works with clients to identify and resolve barriers to progress, engage in treatment options, and gain access to resources. Her philosophy is rooted in the inherent worth of each person, which results in a respectful, positive, and productive clinical relationship with her clients

   
Becky Wiseman , LSCSW
  Becky Wiseman, LSCSW, is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker. She received her Master's in Social Work from the University of Kansas in 2001. Becky has 14 years of clinical experience and has worked in the public school system as a School Social Worker for the last 8 years.

Becky has a broad range of experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Treatment offered included Family therapy, Mindfulness Practice for various mental health issues, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She also has extensive experience in school related issues including school anxieties, LGBTQ populations, and school avoidance.

Becky has a collaborative approach in her practice and works with clients to decrease blame and negativity of self and/or others. Becky appreciates the courage it takes to seek help and creates an environment that respects and honors that courage.

   
Cindy Henderson , LSCSW
  Cindy Henderson, LSCSW, is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker. She received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1985. She has over 30 years of clinical experience in inpatient and, primarily, in outpatient treatment settings. Since 1986, she has specialized in the treatment of sexual trauma and its resultant issues. She has served on the Multidisciplinary Advisory Committee for Sunflower House, the Child Advocacy Center for Johnson and Wyandotte counties.

Along with treating sexual abuse, Cindy treats anxiety, PTSD, panic attacks, depression, grief, anger, couple and family conflict, sexual compulsivity and reactivity, destructive behaviors, life stressors and adjustment to change. She is acutely aware of the increased pressure on parents and students, employees and employers, couples and seniors, due to the heightened expectations of individuals in today’s society. She enjoys working collaboratively with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors to meet their unique needs and to promote improved self-awareness, self-confidence and ability to meet life’s challenges.

   
Stephanie Allegre , LSCSW
  Stephanie Allegre, LSCSW, is a licensed specialist clinical social worker. She received her Masters in social work from the University of Kansas in 1986. In 1992, she completed the Family Institute family therapy training program. She has worked for the public school system as a school social worker for the past 30 years.

Stephanie has worked extensively with adolescents and families in the areas of depression, anxiety, parent/child conflicts, anger, school refusal, legal involvement, LGBTQ issues, pregnancy, dating relationships, grief and loss, as well as, learning, behavior and spectrum disorders. She has a straightforward counseling approach and believes that building trust is critical for productive relationships and successful outcomes.

   
Francie Pollom , LSCSW
  Francie Pollom, LSCSW, is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker. She received her Bachelors in Business from Emporia State University and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Kansas. Her eight years in business management and 18 years as a High School Social Worker provide first-hand knowledge of the challenges and pressures of the corporate world and the educational system.

Francie’s practice includes families and individuals from adolescents to seniors. She provides assessment and treatment of mood, behavioral, and relational issues including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, anger and stress management, Aspergers, ADHD, and family relationships, including issues related to aging seniors. She has extensive experience in issues related to student functioning, including school anxiety and avoidance, and provides coaching and guidance for parents of teens and adult children. Francie works collaboratively and systematically with clients to determine goals that prioritize needs and to establish a plan that will help develop the skills to succeed.

   
Loraine Herndon , LSCSW
  Loraine Herndon, LSCSW is a licensed Clinical Therapist in Social Work. She received her graduate degree from the University of Kansas. Loraine was a Post Graduate Fellow in Clinical Social Work at Menninger at the Child & Adolescent Hospital, had training in Family & Group Therapy, Child Assessment & Diagnosis, was a Post Graduate Fellow in Psychotherapy and Diagnosis, and was trained as a Bowen Family System Therapist.

Loraine has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In 1989 she went into private practice and primarily worked with adult clients. In addition, she was part of a multi-discipline team to assess and provide services needed for the parent(s) and their high risk infant to 3 year old children.

From 2004-2016 she has worked at Bert Nash Community Mental Clinic in Adult and Child & Family Services. Women’s Issues have continued to be a strong area of experience as well as therapy with children & adolescents. Loraine’s experience has been in working with Adults and Children with Depression, Mood Disorders, Grief, Trauma, Substance Abuse, Bipolar & Personality Disorders.
